I posted earlier in this thread. I'm now at 41K miles and have had zero issues, have yet to see an SES light (actually on every gas BMW I've owed have seen one by this mileage). Besides recalls only warranty item was replacing the AC compressor belt. I have never used an additive. It's been single digits here this week and she starts right up. Only once did I notice a 1 second glow plug delay.
