Remind me, why?

Has anyone looked at the real duty cycle of the Stock Fan? I can't say too much about the 3 series, but the N52 cooling in my E85 was robust, that fan never had to run hard. Except with the AC was active.

The DME will set the fan to higher speeds with the Air conditioning compressor tuned on, even if the coolant temperatures are low.

The DME controls the coolant temperature anyways, you can't change the engine operating temperatures with a more powerful fan.
