OK, over the weekend I went ahead and replaced the spark plugs, changed the oil filter housing gasket and replaced the belt, pulleys and tensioner on my 2011 E93 convertable with the N55 engine.

All in all took me roughly 7 hours to complete everything following various you tube guides that were actually quite good. I would have been completed in the 7 hours but I dropped a manifold nut down in the engine bay and after an hour of trying to retrieve it I gave up and picked up a replacement from the dealer on the next day.

This is not overly difficult just a bit tedious because you needed to remove quite a bit of stuff to get to everything but well worth the savings vs having someone else do it. As mentioned above, I received a $1250 quote for just the Oil Filter Housing Gasket (which would have taken me no more than 3 or 4 hours on its own which is much less than the 6 hours quoted by the dealer).
