This is for people with aftermarket headunits only.


Here's what you need:

Metra 70-9003
(Plugs into your Dash Harness)





Metra 71-9003
(Plugs into your OEM Radio)

Instructions:

You need to run five wires from the dash to the trunk. Three of the wires are to connect pins 9, 11 and 15 on 71-9003 to pins 9, 11 and 15 on 70-9003. The two remaining wires are for a small speaker (8 Ohm) so you can hear the chimes. This speaker gets mounted in the OEM location under the driver's side dash. Pin 12 on 71-9003 gets grounded in the trunk.

EDIT:

This is very important. DO NOT assume that all the pinouts are correct on the Metra 70-9003 and Metra 71-9003 wiring harnesses. You MUST verify that all the pins are in the correct places. Depending on where you got the harness, you have have to move some around.
