Add me to the list of broken EGR Cooler springs. I got the dreaded service engine soon light and I pulled the code indicating EGR temp plausibility.

Reached down to the linkage and sure enough it was moving left and right and not moving back to the left - spring broken.

I fashioned a "bush fix" by putting an external spring on the linkage until I get a replacement. Unfortunately I need to reset the codes and put some miles on so it passes readiness test and I can get inspected (already a couple of weeks late - I am in NJ).

Anyone with a good used cooler laying around they want to sell? Please PM me.
