I don't believe that a dish-washing liquid is the best product to apply on rubbers or plastics since it will remove all the fat and oils that the manufacturer has applied on them in order for them to maintain their elasticity and their good shape during their lifetime.
I also use the german product of 1z, gummi pfledge, but I can't really say that I am happy with the results. I ll go for the autoglym similar product or the fuchs carbaflo (i just watched the above video which seems to be interesting)
