Get the thermostat and report back. The one above looks just like the AD Engineering one except color. It works fine, and you can move on to the next issue. At 105 Texas degrees, going 85 mph, I normally see 215 or 220 degrees. At a standstill same temp it is about 235. As mentioned above it takes a bit longer for the car to warm up. Take and give. Do it.
