Kris (MentholGuy) from ModMyNav flew out to Chicago to personally do some installs at WSTO this weekend. I was one of the lucky people to meet Kris and hang out with him while he did the install. He is a very cool guy, very professional and answered all of my nagging questions.

I got the multimedia interface with iPod video playback, rear view camera and rear video while driving options. I have 1st gen iDrive, 6FL ipod integration and PDC already.
Operation is very easy, you simply use the Menu button by the iDrive knob to control video inputs, and the diamond or star button on the steering wheel to switch screen aspect (full vs. split)
First off the camera looks very OEM and is not very noticeable at all.

I am still able to retain full 6FL functionality while connected via USB in the armrest. A word to the wise, I have 5th gen iPod, and you cannot watch video and charge at the same time while connected to BMW usb because it will try to sync. I purchased a Belkin low-profile cigarette adapter USB charger and charge the battery this way while watching video.

Overall, I LOVE this product, I have always wanted a way to play movies in the car using the screen. Kris was very careful and meticulous while doing the install.
