Attachment 1947743Hi Guys so I just bought a 2008 335xi with 159k when I bought the car and test drove it it wasn’t leaking any oil. Brought the car home and it’s leaking like crazy only when you drive it, doesn’t leak when the car is at idle, replaced the valve cover 2 times and OFHG 3 times and 3 more times with copper RTV, still leaking. It’s not the turbo lines because the oil is on the drivers side. I took the manifold off and there’s oil right where the head meets the block (head gasket) I’m wondering if a head gasket can leak that much? I have pictures and will try to upload them here
I know the OFH is not leaking at all or the valve cover that’s for sure

Any help would be appreciated

clean it thoroughly,
go get UV dye and UV flashlight from the parts store.

follow instructions.
it is possible for a head gasket to weep oil, but I'd think it highly unlikely.
