White smoke in a Diesel engine means there's oil burning or incorrect fuel
, check fuel filter, if it's clogged the injectors won't have the correct pressure so check the fuel rail pressure and maybe pull a injector to see if it's dirty.
Just Remember your torque specs while putting everything back. And careful around the fuel rail very high pressure
