The weld and bolt problem occurs when you install the LSD into the original diff hub. Like you said, the newer versions of the 335 have their diff welded together which makes it almost impossible to replace. The good news is there are workshops in the UK who sells the complete unit with the LSD already installed. All you have to do is remove your diff, install the new one and send your diff back to the workshop in the UK. In total I think I paid US2300 for the LSD, freight, etc.

I got an offer from Monster before for my welded diff including Quaife LSD, if I can remember which is around HK$16,500 for all, is that fair?
