Getting
sick is not getting the
flu. I assume by "getting sick" you mean you feel under the weather, perhaps a head cold or a chest cold, yes?
Getting sick in winter can come from numerous factors including but not limited to: weather, exposure to sick people, immune system compromises, age, exercise, diet, allergies, etc.
If you are getting sick more often now than you used to, I'd start by looking at those factors and see what's changed.
