My personal experience is that i would have the flu 1 week out of the year for about 50% of the years prior to getting the flu shot.
The year i got the flu shot, i had the flu 4 times.
I have not had a flu shot since then and neither have i had the flu.
Clearly, you get the flu shot and get the flu several times shortly there after. Then, you are immune for life. - Abraham Lincoln
