You have a 9yr old twin turbo car. That should have been plenty of perspective. At the moment your issue is trivial. Until you have it checked out you dont know what it is. Advice is to take it to a specialist. Guessing by your name your in London. Try Jason at Bw or Steve at A1. They should be able to put you on the right path without the "£600 for labour £400 for the part" spiel.
