I totally agree with this statement. If you know how to modulate the clutch, no damage should be inflcted on your tranny. Along with that, if you know how to modulate the clutch and don't beat on your car, having the OEM CDV installed will not wear your clutch any faster than without it.

I think the question of CDV replacement is one of personal driving style and only you know which is the right way to go.
