I've had the DMS remap done on my 335D Touring. Worth every penny , and it was a lot less than £850.
I get no less than 34mpg and if i take it steady get 38/40 now ( 9000 on the clock ). The car runs like a dream , performance is similar to an E46 M3 too.
As for BMW being able to find the remap , i dont really know , though i had a 535 DMS before and had it serviced twice at a dealer with no trouble what soever.
