OP, any updates?
Had my software updated to the latest (v34), and ever since, I've noticed this metallic noise at startup as well. I have the performance exhaust so there is no flap. The sound appears to be coming from the front half of the car anyway. Downpipes are stock. ^ Like Sniz, car is MT, and this happens only once in a while and does not occur when revving.
