Both of those seem expensive to me. I took the option to extend my '57 plate 335d BMW AUC warranty last year and have been paying £24 a month (£288 a year) since. I assume both are more expensive as it wasn't a BMW AUC car, but £1,100 is extortion as far as I'm concerned.
As long as the warranty covers the major components of the car and all the expensive parts to replace I'd go with the cheaper one.
The devil is usually in the small print, it might be easier to compare them by seeing what they don't cover rather than what they do.
