From reading the forums I'd say ET35 to ET42 is generallly safe range 9.5" rears on the E90 LCI facelift sedans.

ET28 to ET35 was more suited to Pre-Facelift E90 sedan. (Thats is 7-8mm more agressive offset).

There are probably some wide fitting 265mm tires that may have rubbing at ET35 on the E90 LCI, so the tyre brand is always a variable.

For the front, ET32-ET35 is safe on both Pre-LCI and LCI. I have ET32 on the front of my LCI and I think it is perfect.
