Hi guys,
While cleaning my vanos solenoids on my n54 335i today I think I quite possibly dropped one of the rubber seals into the cam chain drive as I can't find one of them
. I'm going to go and get new ones to replace (thought I was going to re-use the original ones as I have a low mileage car).
I'm going to drop the inspection tray tomorrow and have another good look in the engine bay, but if worst case scenario if the rubber seal has gone into the cam chain drive would it cause damage as it's only soft rubber? Any chance of it blocking oil lines ect....
Freaking out now. Any help would be much appreciated!
