Don't understand this thread if you want to clean them properly with no risk of damage to the surface get a dedicated wheel cleaner I like the valet pro dragons breath can be got for a reasonable price and does a very good job. But if really bad and lots of thick grime iron X is the only thing to use to pull the crap out the finish. Depends if you want them to look clean or actually be clean and looking like new?
