I strongly would suggest to look into the tyres you are using.
I have spend a lot of time on finding the optimal street/street race tyres... and for me the michelin pilot super sport outperform all... Both on wet as on dry surface.
It is almost borring. They are even miles ahead compared to the Michelin Pilot Sport 2...
I have tested almost every brand. Not on milage but on traction, noise and comfort. The Michelin PSP are just very good.
I even use them on the track now and then, but there I prefer slicks, nothing better then that when cornering....

PS: I do not use the Procede TC system, might start playing with it.
