I know you posted this a long time ago, however I need all the help I can get right now.
I have an e91 330xi (05/2006) from Europe without any cc options. I'm trying to get 544 working. I bought the right SZL and then had someone code it for me, however the system asks for a LDM module. Based on your post above I was hoping I wouldn't need one..?
Then I found your reply on this post:

Based on your expertise, what do I need to do to get 544 working?
