um.. not being funny but working for a dealer shouldn't you either know, be able to find out from BMW UK (or AG), or just order the parts and actually 'give it a go'?
from anecdotal hearsay, yes they do work.. i believe though that a makeshift wiring adapter needs to be either made, or possibly purchased if someone now has had the foresight to produce one?
