Sorry to hear about this Andrew, I was very close to buying a 997 GTS and keeping my 116d as a daily, but in the end, I was in the same boat thinking why bother spending all that £££ when its gonna be sitting in my garage most of the year.
Anyway good luck with the M6, I really really like them, Im gonna keep the M135i for a couple of years then its gonna be M4 or M6 time.
