Who has done this big a change without problems? I have heard from many people that putting even just a 3.08 into the dct triggered major codes and problems.
I myself have the dct with the final drive changed to 2.81 it does not cause codes or major problems that I have noticed. but the tach does get a little confused when shifting gears. Always moving from where it thinks the engine should be to where it actually is.
