Hi Guys,
I would like to update the navi maps of an e84 (x1), prod. date 01/2010 with a factory CIC mid.
The last update we did in this car was in 2017 - europe motion 2017-1 - over the usb port within the glove box.
The first issue was, that I am not able to get connected with the car by ENET. Via OBD/USB, everything works fine.
The "USB script method" does only work with CIC prof, but not with the mid version as far as I understood.
On the other side I still have a fsc for the motion 2020-1 version and therefore, I thought I give it a try... but unfortunately, the update assistent doesnt start when I am plugging in the usb stick.
I tried a few USB sticks with diff. sizes and formats.
As far as I know from the previous updates (diff. e-series cars), the USB stick needs to be formatted in FAT32 and should have at least 8/16 GB.
I can do what I want, nothing happens...
After copying, etc. I decided to let the car go to sleep mode (15 min. +).
Unfortunately, it is still the same.
I see the USB stick is blinking, but nothing happens on the cid.
My questions are:
Is there a good how to "how to grap the 1b file from an e84 with cic mid" on the internet?
... and what happend with the usb port?!

PS: could you please update the lookup.xml with motion 2021?
I opened the map file and the hex code says 00 47 00 51.
