I have a non-iDrive 2006 330i that I picked up last September. The day I bought it, I paired my 8700g and it worked perfectly. The phone book synched, etc. Also, every time it connected to the car, the triangle icon next to the signal meter would turn into a picture of a phone.
This week I had to replace my 8700. I have successfully paired it with the car, and all addresses have synched, but I've only seen the triangle turn into a picture of a phone once, last night after I had been on the phone for over 5 minutes. This morning on my way to work, the triangle icon never changed to a phone.
What does this mean?
Is there some functionality that is not working properly? If so, then what do I do to fix it? Am I being too anal? Thanks in advance.
