Funny, b/c I've sat in an E90 335i and my E92 335i, and I swear that my E92 335i Coupe has just as much room in the back as the 4 door E90.
Either way, the rear seats in the E92 335i aren't that bad at all; I can fit back there comfortably, and of course my 5 1/2 y-o fits perfectly in the booster seat.
