What's the source of your recommendation? I would say that a) it contradicts what everyone else on this thread is saying, and b) it contradicts the Owner's Manual, which states the following:

Up to 1,200 miles/2,000 km

After driving 1,200 miles/2,000 km
Engine and vehicle speeds can be gradually increased.
