I didn't have a riveting tool so I bought one at Harbor Freight. It was cheap like $20 with bunch of rivets in various sizes.

For me the greatest challenge was putting the headliner back inside. Airbag swap wasn't bad
Thanks man, the corner piece I had to put some pressure to pull it out, I just didnt want to break it so I had to ask.

I guess these rivets would be a challenge

One more question, after installing new airbag and plugging it in, is it safe to turn on the car before it gets reprogrammed?
