I've just completed a 335i brake swap to my 2007 325i.
After competing the fronts alone I took the car out to try them out and was very impressed with what the fronts alone could do, mind you I had also installed ECS brass bushings and SS brake lines.
If you go with 335i brakes as an upgrade you will be very impressed, my whole conversion front and rear was done for $1200.00 Aussie Dollars about $900.00 US Dollars, the Brembo based swaps cost much more.
If money is an issue, go with 335i brakes, if its not go Brembo.
