I wouldn't worry too much, it's not as though there is going to be shovels in the ground any time in the next ten years! Where I live now a bypass has been talked about, planned, approved, back to public consultation, appealed, re planned, consulted, approved again....etc etc.....and that is over 20 years and still no signs of a new road!
