Assuming I made the changes above without the woofer replacement, then the speaker composition would be similar to the Alpine kit and the prices would be similar (alpine maybe cheaper?). Which upgrade would be the better one? Would the aftermarket one above sound better? Does the Alpine normalize the EQ?
I like sticking with OEM, unless the performance is noticeably worse.
