In short, the VMR VB3 setup that is going to work best with your 09 BMW 335xi is the 18x8.5 ET40 with a 235/40/18 up front and the 18x9.5 ET33 with a 265/35/18 in the rear. This will be perfectly fine on your XI (AWD) and does meet the requirement as the rolling diameter is within the 1% difference. You will not have any rubbing issues and will not need to roll your fenders in anyway.
