This rattle is driving me crazy.
Pronounced at cold start. Goes away of I put it in gear (AT). Comes back in neutral or park. Audible mostly from upper dash. Hard to hear with hood open (stethoscope arrives tomorrow).
It goes away after it heats up but will come back especially when coasting to a stop when it downshifts into 2nd gear.
The car runs great. No codes. Shifts great.
Have scoured threads and Google. Figuring it is a lifter stuck. Not waste gate rattle although I have a little of that chatter at idle.
Any ideas?
Recently changed plugs, oil, cleaned map sensors, new charge pipe, running JB4 G5. Been at 35% E85.
Getting ready to take it in to have been it looked at.
