I’m dealing with this same issue, with one twist: can’t reliably reproduce until I’m in an inconvenient situation.
Each time the dead car has happened, ‘waiting ‘ solved the problem. Last night, I got a ride home, went back this morning to try a fix, and the car acts like “what? Nothing is wrong... you are crazy! BTW, can you set my clock?”
So, pics please. I’m grabbing the back of the fuse box trying to make the car die.
I think I have to drive around with the fuse box exposed Like the OP
How can I make it fail?
