With a good synthetic oil you're fine. If you're still worried you can retrofit an oil cooler housing, lines and oil cooler to your car. Our 335i was a March 2007 build that didn't come with the oil cooler either. I went ahead and retrofitted one. Ever since I did the peak temps are down about 20 degrees.
