Combox might work with donor VIN as well..I am not sure...

Combox is coded to your car's original VIN, not the CIC VIN.

But anyway, here is the procedure :-)

> Create an SSD file for your car with your VIN in it.. (Make sure all the options are included so that NCS can load CMEDIA ECU.)
> Fire up NCS in EXPERTENMOD ->VIN/FA from file.-><your SSD file>-> back.
> Code CMEDIA .

That should now code your combox with your VIN in the SSD.
