This can happen to any part you buy from any manufacturer.

I am still waiting and I think it's worth the wait.
The difference is that the other manufacturers all have additional parts in stock. Bilstein will not have any additional in stock, so you'll be screwed. They've really dropped tha ball with not being interested in producing parts for our platform.

I went with the bmw pss kit because I couldn't drive around with a blown rear shock for any longer, and I'm so glad I went somewhere else, even though I originally wanted a b12 kit.
