Also, for whatever reason, most of them get pulled from cars with the filter, so wait till you see the item in hand before you buy a new one (you may not need it unless you are certain that you want to switch to K&N — which I cant say has significant gains over stock).

Mine came with filter. That thing was FILTHY! Not sure how long it was in the car, but it looked rough. |
Hahaha, after receiving mine I actually returned the Mahle I had bought. I'll admit to trying the K&N for sound, but the effects were minimal.
