It's generally a poor idea to have different tires on the same car due to unexpected handling responses, especially in emergency situations.

After about 11,000 miles, the DWS tires mounted on my ZSP 128i have provided excellent handling, ride and tread wear. The only downside is a slightly mushy steering feel on initial turn-in, but the grip is unaffected. Increasing the pressures by about 3 psi help the steering feedback without degrading the ride quality.
