Discovered it's not Vortech's problem.
The garage installed the S/C has forgotten to swap out the transport plug (solid plug) to the supplied venting plug (plug with a small breather). This results in internal pressure build up within the supercharger and oil eventually leak via the seal. (if you need image of the plug just search in the internet)
The installtion manual is not very clear on this so I won't blame anyone.
Anyhow, the venting plug is now in and I will check if there are any further oil leaks. I hope the damage is minimal; I order a set of replacement seal just in case.  |
