We're speaking in Fahrenheit here? If so, that's 76 Celsius. My Canadian manual says operating oil temp is 100c which is 212 Fahrenheit.

I saw another post where they said like 150 Fahrenheit is good, I don't understand why the USA values seem so lower where they say it's ok to push it ?
Yes, I didn't read it anywhere in a manual and I have no scientific explanation. I just don't want to beat on a car that isn't sufficiently warmed up a bit, but it doesn't necessarily need to be at normal operating temp either which is a bit extreme at 245 on these cars.

Also, I'm sure the engineers accounted for the fact that your average driver wouldn't think about this kind of stuff and just gets in and starts boosting out of the driveway
