I haven't personally had work done at these shops yet, but they both have a solid reputation in this area. Several members here have Helix Attache intalled. I've ordered items from Helix online. They have hosted meets and install days. They are active members/vendors on E90Post.
Bimmerworks is involved in the enthusiast comminity. They entered a car in 2007 One Lap of America. They also has loaner cars (not often found in an independent shop), and have BMW factory certified techs. They sponsor the local BMW CCA chapter, and have participated in charity events and also hold meets. Many of our MINI club membership go there for installs and service, and consistently report positive feedback.
