Same here. If I ever for whatever reason dont have any distilled water, I use filtered water from a water filter. I also have an inline filter from the fluid tank to get anything of real size out of the line. Distilled water is cheap, and bulk methanol is WAY cheaper than washer fluid or other similar stuff like HEET. No road taxes on methanol which is probably why its so cheap, but I get it for a fair amount less per gallon than gas is, think I paid about $2.50 last time I filled a container and gas at the time was about $0.50 higher than it is right now. |
I just paid $10 for five gallons of pure methanol.
