The reason I asked is because on the MkIV TDIs (possibly other generations), I remember people 15 years ago on TDIClub reporting K&N filters fouling their MAF's, and I have steered clear of oiled filters ever since.

I was just curious what the wisdom is on this platform. Sounds like it may be the same.
