HF jacks are rock solid I have 2 of their jacks (orange Daytona 3 ton low profile, and blue aluminum 1.5ton "racing") and both have been rock solid to date. Especially the Daytona is built like a tank and I have never second guesses using it to lift any of my vehicles.
Recently I even tested its limits when we used it to swap the struts on my buddy's Yukon XL 2500. Of course even that big truck had no issues with the jack.
