I get similar numbers. Around 11.5L in short city commutes and around 9L outside the city.
Now, before you start looking for N52 problems, check your brakes!
Seriously. I keep track of my consumption and on one of my previous cars, it jumped quickly and I couldn't explain it. When I poked around a car, I once noticed a faint smell of rear brakes. Rear caliper was sticking intermittently, so the car drove OK, but obviously had to work harder. Just a tip.
