Well, they are BOTH "BMW Diagnostic Software" developed by BMW for Dealer-Level use, and Factory-Level use, and YOU are in DE. Why not call BMW -- I'm SURE they will help.
Seriously, if you have a download from MEGA (NOT MAGA ;-) from BEFORE BMW shut MEGA-hosted sites with BMW Standard Tools, Datens, & ISTA+
DOWN, you just follow the text file instructions that appear when you UNZIP the compressed file. Since there WERE so many variations of ISTA/ INPA "out there" on the Web, they do NOT ALL install the same way or contain the SAME Data, file size, etc.
If you have any information to share on WHY BMW/ BMW NA went on a "tear" and tried to close ALL INPA/ISTA download sites, related to vehicles > 10-years-old, please enlighten.
